JC's Own Stratum 2024 Size::6 Bottle Case violets and a touch ofMagnificent impenetrable inky black colour with an equally deep dark purple black hue. Lifted ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas mix with some leather, scorched earth and peppered dried herb scents. Rich dark plum, liquorice and blueberry fruits are underpinned by vibrant fresh acidity. Leather, earth and dried herb characters ensue. Very peppery finish with chewy tannins and a brightly fruited medium to long aftertaste. Cellar 5 6 years.
