In bronze gilt, a medal with the obverse features a profile of Franz Joseph, the reverse presents the inscription SIGNVM LAVDIS surrounded by an oak and laurel wreath, the medal is surmounted by a large crown, measures 30. 7mm (w) x 50. 4mm (h), weighs 21. 8 grams, worn on triangular ribbon, gilt wear on crown, small edge knocks, remains in near extremely fine condition.
