Measuring 175 mm (w) x 257 mm (h)
and centered by the interwoven three colored threads of Croatian National Colors
Germany, Wehrmacht. A Rare 1939 Clasp to the Iron Cross I Class, Type II, by Steinhauer & Lück Auction In just over fifty years(Wiederholungsspange 1939 zum Eisernen Kreuz I. Klasse 1914, 2. Form). Reinstituted 1 September 1939. (1940 1945 issue). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of Wehrmacht eagle perched on top of a wreathed mobile swastika, in turn situated above a trapezoidal plaque bearing a raised date of 1939 on a pebbled field, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with LDO code L 16
