Soils are marine derived sandstone, with siltstone and shale. Soils are similar respected vineyards in Gruyere which within the Warramate anticline. After being handpicked, the grapes were wholebunch fermented (wild) for 7 days and pressed to a season puncheon for a wild malolactic fermentation. The wine had a few careful lees stirs
