Italy, Tuscany. An Order Of Military Merit, I Class Grand Cross Sash Archive with red enameled arms(Ordine di Merito Militare Ordine del Merito Civile). Instituted in 1853 and 1851, respectively. A Mid 20th Century sash fabricated from silk, incorporating a decorative moir pattern, with a red field flanked by wide black stripes on either side, the edges trimmed in a thin red stripe, with a large bow and a matching ribbon for attachment of the badge at the bottom end, measuring 100 mm wide x 835 mm in length, vibrant colours, intact stitching,
