The tag is crafted in zink, with the obverse stamped Frontstalag 240 with the individuals number filed off but partially legible as 28654 on both sides of the slotted disc; measuring 60 mm x 40 mm; very fine condition. Footnote: The Frontstalag 240 was a German internment camp located on the outskirts of Verdun (France). It was completed in August 1940, and was used only
