Portugal, Republic. An Order Of Merit, Iii Class Commander, C.1945 certificate_of_authenticity had volunteered two years previous(Ordem do Mrito). Instituted in 1927. In silver gilt with red, white, blue and green enamels, hallmarked with a sword on both the observe of the integral suspension and the reverse of the loop, measuring 57 mm (w) x 92. 8 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath suspension, scattered chipping evident in the green enamels on the wreath on both sides, on a full length replacement neck ribbon, near very fine.
