Germany, Heer. A Heer (Army) Gebirgsjäger M43 Em/Nco’s Field Cap Archive In a hardshelled presentation case(Gebirgsjger Einheitsfeldmtze). This is an extremely well preserved Heer (Army) Gebirgsjger (Mountain Troops) EM NCO's M43 field cap, constructed of field grey wool with a light brown cotton interior liner. The exterior is surrounded by fold down flaps spanning the circumference of the cap, providing neck and ear protection when in use. The flaps are secured in place when not in use by a single brown bakelite button at the front of the left flap,
