Description
The wine reached 15
” and “Llano Redondo”
This family-run estate has been making some great Barbera and Barolo in the heart of Piedmont since 1994
There’s far less pressure here to hit certain marks of ‘typicity’
They don't do flor anymore (since 2023) because of the heat
Walter Scott Sojeau Vineyard Pinot Noir 2024 Color:Red The wine reached 15Walter Scott owns no vineyards, but Sujeau is as close as they get to an 'estate'. Looking straight east at the Van Duzer Corridor, grapes here handle plenty of weather through the growing season, and the resulting wine is fully formed. Nicely structured, lengthy tannins, with forest floor, strawberry and floral accents, this is the most 'complete' wine of the set.
