Constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse joined together at the bottom by a banner bearing an engraved Johannis Lodge institution date of AM 22. MAI 1840, surrounding a blue enameled medallion bearing a raised and gilded monogram of then Prince Regent Wilhelm (later Kaiser Wilhelm I), the reverse similarly joined together at the bottom by a banner bearing an engraved
