The dome is lined in a light yellow nylon and incorporates an orange moisture shield
a reinforcing strip around the entire circumference of the helmet at the lip
Pinned into the cap band underneath the eagle is a SS-style Totenkopf
with some photographs showing crowds amassed on the sidelines

A reduced size four armed cross with ball finials in bronze gilt, featuring cluster of five beaded rays in each quadrant in silvered bronze, with obverse centre in bronze gilt exhibiting a superposed figure of St. Hermenegildo, with a light blue enameled background, surrounded by a white enameled border inscribed PREMIO A LA CONSTANCIA MILITAR
