The helmet is crafted of a sheet of molybdenum steel (magnetic), and is painted in a standard dark apple green colour. It features stamped air vents on either side of the helmet, with a crude unrolled crimped rim along the entire helmet, making this a signature M42 type helmet. The interior features a moderately worn standard eight panel tan coloured leather liner (a trademark
