Germany, HJ. A 1939 National Trade Competition Victor’s Badge, Bronze Grade Hold Mitchell (SH-61710 R(Ehrenzeichen Kreissieger im Reichsberufswettkampf 1939). Constructed of patinated bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consists of a circular laurel leaf wreath surrounding a white enameled disc, bearing a raised German national eagle clutching a cogwheel defaced by an enameled HJ insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of KREISSIEGER 1939 (DISTRICT CHAMPION 1939). It was marked, but the marking has been erased. The award, however,
