Polished Mookaite MK385 microbialite Pilbaria perplexa from the ProterozoicMK385. Mookaite cut and polished on one side with a rough natural back and cut flat on the base to sit as a display specimen. Dimensions at widest points approx. 160 mm x 65 mm x 65 mm. thick. Weighs 604 grams. The interesting cylindrical cavity is all that remains of a fossil belemnite which were a squid like creature with a tapering torpedo or bullet shaped body.
