Constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a pair of lightning bolts while in mid flight, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 58 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
