Wagner, Richard - Signed Note and photo Book Signed former conductor of the FrankfurtNote signed by the great German composer, addressed to Gustave Alexander Flaxland (1821 1895), a friend and an important French publisher. Flaxland was the publisher for several of his operas in France, including Rienzi, Lohengrin, Der Fliegende Hollander and Tanhauser. In this note from December 1859, Wagner is giving Flaxland the ok for the publication of "Reminiscences" by L. Rohr for piano for 2 and 4 hands, based on Tanhauser.
