Germany, Third Reich. A Civil Service 40-Year Long Service Cross Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic with facsimile signature of Reichsjugendführer(Treudienst Ehrenzeichen fr 40 Jahre). Constructed of gilded bronze, on a fixed loop and swivel ring for suspension from its period original ribbon featuring a horizontal pinback assembly, consisting of a Cross Patte with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak wreath, the obverse bearing a black swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of Fr Treue Dienste (For Faithful Service), unmarked, measuring 41. 3 mm (w) x
