Sections consist of a chaotic mixture of dolomite and/or stromatolite fragments set in a matrix of mudstone and/or coarsely crystalline dolomite

Polished Lime Magnesite specimen. MAP207 toredo 125 mm x 70 mmMAP207. Magnesite (Lemon chrysoprase) rough rock, cut and polished on one side with a natural back. Half of a complete nodule ! Dimensions at widest points approximately 90 mm x 60 mm x 40 mm thick. Weighs 249 grams. The subtle lime green colouration is caused by the presence of nickel mineralisation. From north of Kalgoorlie , Western Australia.
