Constructed of bronze, affixed to a field grey wool backer with all four attachment prongs intact, the obverse consisting of a shield with a raised map of Crimea and southern Ukraine, topped by dates 1941 1942 and a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 51. 50 mm (w) x 62. 04 mm (h), moderate oxidation evident, in overall very fine condition.
