France, Iii Republic. A Medal Of Honour For The Railways, C.1918 certificate_of_authenticity reverse illustrating a seated nude(Mdaille d'Honneur des Agents des Chemins de Fer). Instituted in 1913. Type I (1913 1939). In silvered bronze, marker marked "OA" within a triangle and marked "BRONZE" on the edge, engraved "CHOTARD HUBERT 1935" on the reverse, measuring 33 mm in diameter, scattered silvering wear and surface wear, edge nicks, silvered bronze locomotive clasp affixed to its original ribbon, fine. Footnote: The Medal of Honour for the Railways was created by decree on
