In bronze gilt, a red enamelled Maltese cross with crossed swords piercing the center, the 12 oclock arm bears the date 1915 and the 6 oclock arm reads 1917, the obverse medallion presents a crowned rampant lion surrounded by a white ring inscribed , the reverse presents a single vertical pin assembly, measures 48mm (w) x 47. 4mm (h), weighs 22. 5 grams, small hairline cracks in white enamel, dark patina
