measuring 65 mm (w) x 80 mm (h - inclusive of its gilt and red enamelled crescent moon and star suspension)
they became tangled in ropes as they tried to get away

Germany. A Wartime Photo Of EK & Wound Badge Recipient Newly Listed Between April and SeptemberMeasuring 84x134mm, extremely fine condition with light scuffing. It shows a Hauptmann (Captain) wearing an Iron Cross (1914) 1st Class and a Wound Badge in Black. His ribbon bar shows several other decorations, the first one undoubtedly being the Iron Cross (1914) 2nd Class, the others however are too small to accurately identify.
