A 1945 Polish Grunwald Badge 1945 Auction Archive He was transferred to theA 1945 Polish Grunwald Badge 1945 Bronze, illustrating an eagle sitting upon a knight's shield, inscribed "1410 1945 GRUNWALD BERLIN" with two downward pointing swords below, 27. 5 mm x 54 mm, screwback, green oxidation evident on the obverse in the recessed areas of the eagle and on the reverse, light contact, better than very fine. Footnote: The badge was established in 1945, to commemorate the victory over Germany and awarded to all Polish troops
