An Army Service Corps Sweetheart Badge, 1916 United Republic of The centre medallion is whiteDisk in sterling silver with black shell background, hand engraved insignia, held in place within a sterling silver frame, marked with the British lion, a leopard's head (made in London), date marked "a" (1916) and "PATENT" on the reverse, the maker's mark obscured, measuring 27. 7 mm in diameter, horizontal pinback, chipping and crazing evident in the black enamels to the right of the insignia, fine.
