Constructed of bronze, circular medal depicting on the obverse a winged figure of Victory on a rayed background, reverse featuring the arms of Portugal on a lateral band of War Crosses, inscribed by the inscription MEDALHA DA VITORIA (Victory Medal), measuring 35. 06 mm (w) x 41. 12 mm (h inclusive of the integral ball), oxidation to medal resulting in a greenish hue throughout the medal,
