Instituted 12 June 1792 by King Friedrich Wilhelm II. (1854 1918 issue). Constructed of gilded silver with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Cross Patte with white enameled arms, the obverse overlaid by a central white enameled medallion bearing a hand painted Prussian eagle, the reverse overlaid by a central white enameled medallion bearing a hand painted gilt monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm
