Footnote: The Corps of Guides served from 1903 until 1929 as an element of the Non Permanent Active Militia. A Canadian Corps Intelligence Section served in France as a unit of the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the Great War. The Corps was comprised of 499 personnel and 379 horses.
