A wreath of maple leaves surrounding a Maltese Cross, in the centre of the cross a circlet bearing Aduance, in the void centre the numerals 43, below wreath a scroll bearing the regimental designation Ottawa and Carleton Own Rifles, all surmounted by a Victorian Crown.
