Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Edmonton and District with mobilization headquarters at Edmonton, Alberta under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed November 14, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel W. C. Craig with a strength of 31 officers
