A Post-War Signed Photo Of Knight’s Cross Recipient Major Berndt Von Mitzlaff Newly Listed A Second War Iron CrossA photo, measuring 101x143mm, extremely fine condition. The insignia he is wearing have been denazified. On the reverse, the photo is dedicated to Dieter Doden (?), the collector. Mitzlaff states that the picture was taken in 1944 in Merseburg, and that there was no ceremony, since they were on the run. Footnote: Berndt von Mitzlaff (19142003) was born in Schkopau (Saxony). He won a German Cross in Gold on October 25, 1943 as part of the Panzer
