Estonia, Republic. An Order of the Eagle Cross, I Class Star Republic of Fine and near very fine(Kotkaristi teenetemaerk). Instituted on 24 February 1928. 1928 1950 issue. A beaded multiple rayed eight pointed star in polished silver, the obverse centre presents an enameled black Maltese cross in silver gilt, displaying a highly detailed silver Estonian eagle holding a sword and the Estonian coat of arms, with three blue lions on a silver shield, the reverse presents a principle pin assembly dual stays, measuring 85. 78 mm (w) x 85. 39 mm (h),
