A Signals Officer’s Visor Cap consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac 1916 at Camp Hughes (west(Heer Schirmmtze fr Offiziere der Nachrichtentruppe). A well preserved Heer Signals Officers visor cap, constructed of field grey wool with a pronounced whipcord weave. It features reinforced side walls which are lined on the exterior with a dark green wool cap band. Both the top and bottom edges of the band are trimmed with light yellow piping, while an additional length of identical piping surrounds the outer edge of the crown. The crowns internal
