Germany, Weimar Republic. A Cross of Honour of the German Red Cross, Type I with Case, by Godet Archive measuring 448 mm in length(Ehrenzeichen des Deutschen Roten Kreuzes, Kreuz I. Klasse mit Etui). Instituted 28 April 1922. (1922 1934 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Cross Patte with white enameled arms, the obverse bearing a central enameled medallion featuring a white disc centrepiece, overlaid by a red Geneva Cross, situated within a black enameled ring bearing a gilt inscription of DEUTSCHES ROTES KREUZ (GERMAN RED CROSS),
