Germany, Ordnungspolizei. An EM/NCO’s Shako, Owner-Attributed Example, by H. Becker & Co. consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac hand etching(Tschako fr Mannschaften der Ordnungspolizei). A well preserbed Ordnungspolizei EM NCOs shako, constructed of a sturdy vulcanfibre shell fully lined on the exterior with a layer of police green wool. The crown is topped by a layer of flattened black vulcanfibre in a classic coffee can style, and is flanked on each side by dual ventilation holes covered by non magnetic metal mesh. A hollow channel set into the peak accommodates an aluminum cockade
