This performance took place in Houston, Texas, June 17th, 1983, together with another opera by Bernstein, "Trouble in Tahiti". After this widely criticized and quite unsuccessful premiere of "A Quiet Place", Bernstein and Wadsworth revised the opera cutting some scenes, incorporating "Trouble
