Grapes are handpicked and crushed bunches were macerated for between 6-24 hours prior to pressing before the wine was fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured on lees prior to bottling

Bottled early with no additions or preservatives

This is a Riesling with spicy ripeness and intense fruit

Chateau d’Yquem, 1er Supérieur G.C.C, 1855 Sauternes 2008 Size::1 Bottle Vibrant aromas of plumsA year of capricious weather, with alternating hot and cold, including frost in April that did no great harm, but reduced the potential crop. A cold, dry period arrived in September, causing slow ripening in Smillon conducive to great aromatic purity. The end result is a subtle combination of richness and a rare vivaciousness.
