Laat-Romeinse spatha Rijnland, semi-scherp Yule With a height of 25cmThis spatha is a replica of a original from the 4th century AD. Nowadays it`s part of the collection of the Rheinisches Landesmuseum in Bonn. This sword was probably used by a Germanic auxiliary in service of the Roman legions. The spatha is 93 cm long, with a blade of 70 cm long and 4,8 cm wide. The blade has two fullers to make it lighter. The hilt is like the original made of bone. This sword comes with a wooden scabbard, covered with black leather
