Epiphany - Large A182778 Hand-beaded and hand-appliqued stripes playThis mixed media piece features an original photograph printed with archival pigment inks on cotton printmaking paper; artist Yukoi Ishii then highlights the image with colored pencils and acrylic paint to create a painterly effect and affixes the print to a cradled wood panel with non toxic adhesive. She then coats the piece with wax to give the image a translucent quality, paints the sides of the board black, and finishes it with a clear protective
